One thought
is enough.
A small, private place for a single thought a day. Daily prompts written on your iPhone, photos that turn into moments, and a quiet weekly reflection that's only for you.
What's inside
A journal that finds the moments
you forgot you wrote.
Every screen is built around the same idea: less work for you, more honesty in the page.

Suggested
Your photos, clustered into real moments.
Photos taken within an hour of each other become a moment — with location, count, time-range, and an auto-title like "Saturday at Central Park". Tap one and the editor opens with the photos already attached.
- Five refresh lenses cycle on every pull-down
- Auto-widens scope after 3 refreshes — the panda announces it
- Skip moments you don't want — they stay gone

Story Mode
Your story, narrated as a reel.
Tap the blue-glass card on Reflections to play your journal as a 9-scene animated reel. Numbers count up, the panda flies in from a different edge each scene, and every metric is clamped to your real calendar — no inflated streaks.
- Words written, longest streak, places, dominant mood, top theme
- Hand-arranged polaroid stack of your own photos
- Cinematic blue-glass palette, segmented progress like Stories

Places
Every place you've been, on a map.
Apple-Photos-style circular pins show a hero photo from each place, with a count badge for clusters. Filter by year. Tap a pin to see what happened there — sampled evenly across the cluster, never just the same back-to-back shots.

Reflections
A weekly summary you didn't have to write.
Each week the on-device model weaves your entries into a quiet reflection. Mood chart, 12-month activity heatmap, themes word cloud, current and longest streak. Open it Sunday evening and let the week land.
"OneThought asks for a sentence. The rest is for you."

Built around the small things
Twelve quiet details
that change how you write.
On-device AI
Daily prompts, weekly reflections, even photo-derived drafts — written by Apple Foundation Models on your iPhone. Never a server.
Tone-aware
Pick gentle, direct, or poetic. Prompts, the panda's voice, and the writing CTA all shift to match.
Apple-style places
Map pins are circular photo thumbnails with count badges. Filter by year. Photos never blank out.
Drag to reorder
Compose has a horizontal photo strip. Drag any tile to a new position. Tap × to remove.
The panda
A small mascot peeks from the right edge. Tap it for a contextual line. Auto-tucks back so it never covers content.
Five lenses
Recommended, Most photos, Newest, Favorites first, Surprise me. Pull-to-refresh cycles them.
Smart search
Literal matches always rank above semantic. A unique word always finds the entry that contains it.
Auto-save
Every keystroke. Compose uses one shared context so your words never get lost mid-edit.
Face ID lock
Optional biometric unlock with a 5-minute background timeout. Biometric data never leaves the Secure Enclave.
Export anytime
PDF, JSON, or plain text. Day One JSON import too. Your archive is yours.
Today widget
Today's prompt + your current streak on the home screen. Reads from a shared App Group, never the network.
