Common questions
My entries from a previous device showed up — is that normal?
Yes. iCloud sync is on by default. If you've used OneThought on another Apple device signed into the same iCloud account, your entries restore automatically. To start fresh, open Settings → Danger zone → Delete all my data on every device.
The Suggested tab keeps showing the same moments.
Pull down to refresh — it cycles through five lenses (Recommended, Most photos, Newest, Favorites first, Surprise me). Refresh three times in a session and OneThought widens the time scope automatically. You can also set a permanent scope in Settings → Suggestions.
Pictures take a long time to load on the Places map.
That's iCloud download time. Photos taken on another device aren't on this iPhone until you view them — OneThought asks Apple to fetch them on the fly. Once loaded, they're cached locally.
Search isn't finding a word I know I wrote.
Search ranks literal matches above semantic ones, and indexes title, body, and tags. If a word still doesn't surface, try a shorter form (e.g. "photog" instead of "photography").
Story Mode is locked.
Story Mode unlocks once you have at least 3 entries. Until then it would just narrate noise.
Daily prompt is in the wrong tone.
Settings → Writing → Prompt tone (gentle / direct / poetic). Today's prompt regenerates instantly, and the panda's voice changes too.
